Perched atop a hill amidst the hills of the town of Kafr Dan in the Jenin Governorate, overlooking the Marj Ibn Amer and the sun setting upon the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, stands the Noor Jenin Solar Power Station, spanning an area of 53 dunoms and boasting a production capacity of 5 megawatts. Its 13,500 solar panels produce enough electricity to power the consumption of 2,400 households.
